General Description
At Lumu Technologies we are looking for a skillful UX Designer willing to challenge the cybersecurity status quo by creating disruptive user experiences that enable any company to take control of their security posture and operate cybersecurity proficiently.
You will have a unique opportunity to shape and evolve the future of our products, by designing appealing and meaningful experiences that allow companies to make sense of massive amounts of data and take action to prevent catastrophic events. You will work closely with Product Management, Sales, Software Development, QA, and other key roles to identify business needs and translate them into elegant solutions by exploring many different approaches to solve end-users’ problems.

Responsibilities
- Shape and evolve the future of Lumu’s products by designing appealing and meaningful user experiences
- Make sense of massive amounts of data through intuitive and accessible interfaces
- Identify business needs and translate them into elegant design solutions
- Conduct user research, user testing, and rapid prototyping
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, Software Development, and QA
- Explore multiple design approaches to solve end-users’ problems
- Deliver design solutions regularly for approval via a distributed collaboration model
- Research and showcase knowledge of the industry’s latest UX trends and technologies
Required Skills and Experience
- A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, usability and accessibility concerns
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team environment, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
- Expertise in standard UX software such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, and the like is a must
- Experience in using UX design best practices and a deep understanding of responsive design
- Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design
- Passionate about UX and other areas of design and innovation — up to date with the industry’s latest trends and technologies
- Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
- English proficiency both written and spoken is required
