Events Coordinator – North America

General Description

Lumu Technologies is seeking an experienced, self-driven Events Coordinator to support the execution of field marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on managing and executing events, including trade shows. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of event logistics, B2B sales cycles, and marketing technologies. This role demands an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for bringing events to life, while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute events across North America, with a focus on trade shows, regional conferences, partner events, and customer-facing activities.
  • Collaborate with the Field Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to plan, organize, and deliver event experiences that drive lead generation, customer engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Manage event logistics from start to finish, including venue selection, registration, booth setup, vendor management, and attendee communications.
  • Assist in the regional adaptation of global campaigns, ensuring that events align with broader marketing strategies and contribute to lead generation goals.
  • Track and manage event budgets, ensuring all activities are executed within allocated resources.
  • Analyze event outcomes, collect feedback, and report on ROI, making recommendations for improvements and future activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for on-the-ground event execution, ensuring seamless operations before, during, and after events.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, venues, and partners to ensure successful event delivery and future opportunities for collaboration.
  • Communicate regular progress and updates to the Field Marketing Manager and other key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in event coordination, with a strong focus on trade shows and B2B events.
  • Knowledge of field marketing and event management processes, including digital, in-person, and hybrid events.
  • Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing event vendors and partners.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Ability to track event metrics, analyze results, and use data to improve future events.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time across the United States and Canada.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the cybersecurity or technology industry is a plus.
  • Tradeshow experience in a B2B setting is highly desirable.
